It was the perfect way to say goodbye to Tokyo and the sakura season 😭💕 On top of that, we had the best time sipping on a delicious sakura latte at a kawaii cafe from a Line Korean character, Apeach 🍑☕️ Also, fun fact: from the Shibuya sky observatory, Yoyogi looks just like Central Park! 🌳🏙️

I love spotting special packaging, store decorations, and sakura-inspired food, like the tea in the photo! This famous alley in Shinjuku transforms its decorations each season, in spring (fake) sakura is displayed hanging from lamp posts, have you been to Omoide yokocho (which in japanese translates to memory lane) before? If so in which season?

I think for spring they should change the saying into: a sakura photo a day keeps the doctor away 🌸💕😉

That is exactly what I am trying to do, since yesterday I have been feeling under the weather, a flu of some sort, and Daniel is non stop sneezing, so let’s hope this sakura makes the trick for us.

Yanaka stole my heart, as I strolled around, I felt transported into one of Shinkai's movies 💕 I highly recommend taking a detour through the blooming Yanaka Cemetery and eat an egg sandwich at Kayaba Coffee. During cherry blossom season, this area becomes a cute and alternative spot to catch the sakura blooms!

My morning visit was filled with friendly locals, riding bikes, walking around, and carrying water buckets for purification. The best part for me? The strong cat presence throughout the neighborhood! Real cats, cat-themed shops, and snacks make it a charming and unique experience.

Also don’t miss the Nezu shrine, it has a charming tiny version of the Fushimi Inari’s torii walk, and also sakura, of course! 🌸
