A very fun(fair) birthday

First of all sorry for the quite terrible pun in the title, couldn’t help myself, ha! Well… one year has already passed, and today is my birthday! tuut tuut! I thought it will be a good way to celebrate that I’m getting older if we could visit a funfair and make me feel just like a kiddo. Would you join me by eating cotton candy together?

I’m wearing a cats dress (mom’s birthday present from 2 years ago that she bought in a small store in Madrid) which has tiny gray cats playing on top of a piano and a musical sheet.

My trustworthy pins on the vest are all presents from older birthdays or Christmas (lucky girl, right?). Vampire from sweet Fiona, cactus from lovely Kate and pinwheel from the hubs ;)

A few days ago we had an itinerant funfair settling next to our home, and although I’m a little scared for the rides I always enjoy going for a walk, watching all the people having fun at the games, the neons and colors and the cotton candy. Do you also have the same apprehension? Since they assemble the rides in just a couple of days I always find difficult to trust the safety protocols. I know this could be just a silly thing in my head, because when I was a kid I used to ride in all of them once a year and many many times, buy hey, I’m an oldie scaredy cat now *smile*

While I’m writing the post I don’t know anything yet about our plans for my birthday, do you remember how last year Dani got me fooled and in a train to go to Carcassonne? Although this year the hubs is also being very privative about our plans for today, something tells me that since we are already going in an adventure this autumn, this will be a quieter birthday but equally good. I like quiet birthdays.

A few weeks ago I casually bought this shiny cat on a bumper car enamel pin which was the most perfect for this occasion, right? The pin is from the We are extinct etsy store, and although it is sold out right by now, the ones available are equally cute!
