Today is my birthday! And it seems that the day is not here alone, it also brings the fall weather with it, great! I was missing fall, it’s always my favorite: I like to wear light tights and sleeves, drink hot chocolate, or chai… or the new maple drink at starbucks which I can’t fail to be excited about. Of course, winter is another story, but fall…oh fall! I love thee ♥
I think the hubs has some surprises awaiting for me today, so I’m still clueless about our plans but he is aware of how I enjoy a low-key one (and that I tend to be very nostalgic and moody on this day), so I hope all his “false” clues – both of us know I know they are false, but it’s very funny to see his face when he tries to fool me – about big plans (he even told me I had to dress like a medieval princess, ha!) are not close to reality.
I was waiting for a special occasion to wear this navy dress with the red & white collar. I bought it from Kaylah’s closet, which makes it instantly special for me! The dress fabric is quite thick making it a great transition dress, I will wear it with a cardigan and tights (it really doesn’t need much more with the statement collar) when the temperatures cool down a little more, can’t wait! The dress was in such perfect condition I wonder how she does it with so many furry babies around :) I’m sure mine has already Juno’s hair on it, ha!
