3 inspiring bits, the series

For the second edition of the 3 inspiring bits we are having the super talented Aussie photographer Samantha Heather, whom was so lovely as to join us to share her most precious moments of the year. Samantha is a twenty-something Sydneysider with a love for photography and adventure. When she is not behind the camera, you can usually find her enjoying a coffee in a hipster café, dancing around her room in an animal onesie or sitting down for a good dose of Netflix. She enjoys the simple things in life and has meaningful thoughts about her approach on her blog.

Without further ado I leave you with the special moments by the wonderful Samantha Heather!

Some close friends and I went on a location scout for an upcoming shoot and while we were walking through the national park we stumbled across this lone tree and we fell in love. We sat under it and listened to the Kookaburras calling and the bees buzzing in the grass around us. I took this photo of my good friend and every time I look at it I’m taken back to the beauty of that place. It was something out of a dream.

His touch and his toothless smile literally melts my soul. It was a rainy day and we decided to spend it indoors watching TV. We rolled around in his bed sheets and made ourselves warm my holding each other close. Those simple moments. They make me fall in love with him more and more every day.

We went on a small road trip with friends and on our last day we walked to the top of a hill that overlooked the valley. It was hot that day and we sat around eating homemade vegan ice creams. The bush was vibrant and inviting and the wind danced through our hair. It felt truly Australian and I guess therefore truly me.
