Today is my birthday!
… and we went to take pictures to the most colorful chairs in Barcelona, to celebrate with all of you, my favorite party.
I think I have mentioned it every year that I prefer to have a quiet celebration with Daniel (& fries, ha!), the two of us (or adding my mom) than having a surprise party. I guess it has something to do with the fact that I’m one of those blogger introverts, which for some may sound like an contradiction, but it really isn’t. I get to share lots of things and learn heaps from you (& from the blogging itself which keeps me pushing forward), but I keep feeling like I’m in a 1on1 date at every post.
What do you like to do for your birthday? Do you have any traditions? The only cute thing that I always (the last 8 years in fact) get to have is a gift from “Juno” that Dani puts together with a cat-related present. He adds a “from Juno” tag with a paw drawing or something similar. Makes me smile every time!
This location may seem random, but it’s actually a place we have been looking for a while. After loving a couple of pictures of these chairs in Instagram, and learning it was in Barcelona, we started our research. We had only a near-by location, but thanks to our detective skills learnt by playing the Sherlock Holmes board game (ha!), we realized that there was a big clue: the shape & size of the poles on the back. From afar we saw the poles and found it.
We didn’t know that it was a public soccer field, when we arrived there was a game and family & friends watching it, so we joined and patiently waited (not the biggest soccer fans) for it to end to take the pictures. I am glad we did, I like how cheerful the location looks!
The t-shirt is more than a matchy-matchy decision, I am obsessed with french fries. No kidding! I need to control myself, otherwise I would eat it more than twice a week. However, my (wild) guess is that the carbs are not the most healthy option, isn't it? *wink* Definitely, french fries would be a perfect food for today. Which food would you choose for your birthday?

When I lived on campus, my best friends and I had a tradition of celebrating each other’s birthdays by printing out a bunch of photos of the birthday girl and sticking them up all over their dorm room!
