We have a quite fresh image for this August’s challenge pic, but I’m afraid that it comes with little photography-wise words today.
I can positively say this August has been the most hectic ever, without any big plans in our agenda we haven been working very hard and still haven’t been able to keep up with everything. We are having two weeks off on September which will be most welcomed, that’s for sure! But I definitely don’t want to complain here, we have had lots of family time this month, which is always very rewarding, my heart needs it to work fully.
Last weekend we were at my hometown because my auntie (on the first pic with me) and nephew were there visiting my mom and we planned a hike in a very beautiful wetlands of the area, you can see a couple of pictures in our instagram @thecatyouandus but we will share more of them this week in our snapshots series, and then a beach day on Sunday. On the beach we hired one of those pedal plastic boats with a slide, making Samuel (our nephew) – and let’s be totally honest, also Dani – the happiest boy on the block. Have you ever tried them? There were lots of waves that day, so it was probably not the wisest idea, and we got a little dizzy after the first 30 minutes, but was lots of fun!
Big summery hugs to all of you! See you again this week with our August snapshots and forgive that I have been MIA everywhere.
love love your photos – gosh a whole pack! I also love boat hire but the reality never matches my cute imagination. Or should I say my fitness doesn’t match my imagination! I think it’s awesome you guys brave the whole pack too, it’s scary to think how much the film costs but I don’t think anyone has ever looked back at 20 year old polaroids and said “I wish I wouldn’t of taken that photo” okay maybe there are some exceptions to that :P
Aww thanks girl! :) we finished the whole pack without even noticing it, oops! after it was gone I started to count how much money it went there…but alas! I think you’re right ;)
Family time is so important. I love these snaps!
Soo true! Thanks Elisse! :)
A peddle boat with a slide?!? That sounds incredible. And yeah for family. I’ve been missing that lately.
Hahaha, the slide was a hit, for the three of us (my nephew, Dani and myself) although I couldn’t help but screaming like crazy every time I slid down ;) Hope you get to see your family soon.
I don’t use my instax camera as much as I should, but I’m thinking now to start taking a picture every month, starting next year! :)
Yay! You definitely should! It’s a good excuse to bring the instax more with you on daily adventures :)
Love these instax pictures! They would be a great memory when you find them again in the future.
