Juno presents our Christmas gift haul this year! Luckily she is always here backing us up with her cute face & sweetness, since this year we were so incredibly behind with all the Christmas meal preparations (plus posting the outfits posts that same day, crazy kiddos!) that we didn’t even had time to take proper pictures of anything. And this is sad news, because we are happy to report that all our international cooking was a success!

Following the same we did last year, we had two cheese tables, some iberic ham and sushi (yes, we can’t host any official meal without it) and although you can take a peek at all of them here, we failed to take pictures to the two most interesting dishes: the peruvian tequeños with huancaina sauce (all homemade, even the wonton wrappers) and the chicken cashew lettuce wraps.
We also forgot to take pictures during the most funny part of the evening: Dani doing his impression of Tom Cruise in the movie Cocktail while preparing a Pisco sour for all of us! Thinking about this now I should have recorded this in a snapchat (& download it afterwards, of course!). Silly head, I guess I am not prepared to be a professional chef after all, too much pressure, ha!

During the preparation of the dinner we realized that Santa and our Christmas log (tió Biel) had already schemed together an early delivery and everything was slowly appearing under our tree, so that at the end of the dinner we were able to unwrap our presents, excitement! I feel like a little kiddo, can’t help it!
Her Christmas gifts haul

This was really a gift for Juno, when we saw her alike by Papilla de fruta at last “We love cats” market we knew we had to buy it for her. And having a rattle inside only look as more promising. Oh well… we never learn… she is quite scared of the gorgeous pulshie Juno-clone, so I happily adopted her. She is now keeping us company on top of our bedroom dresser. Oh, yes! I also finally got the last season of “How I met your mother” and I will be able to finally read about those discussions of the controversial ending.

Cactus with faces washi tape by Charuca, not many more to add :)

Polkaros makes awesome ceramic but has also released a collection of their latest ceramics in enamel pin form. They are inspired by Singapore desserts, and are incredibly beautiful.

No wonder I was wearing these silver shoes for Christmas day!

Mini villains are my favorite! How those evil characters can look so cute?
His Christmas gifts haul

The Darth Vader PJs is too much fun, we keep pointing to the emotion when something happens, like: “this makes me….” poiting to emotion face. Silly goodness!

Dani’s brother and Sara, her girlfriend, knew we had to improve our Christmas tree by adding a little more geekiness, spot on guys!

Dani totally fell in love with this Olula scarf when we visited this year’s edition of the Festivalet Christmas market. And I am planning to steal it at any chance, ha!

The baubles and Pjs are not the only Star Wars themed gift for Dani (anyone can guess how much he loved the new movie?), he also now owns a stick drive that is strong with the force.

We are planning on properly showing this lovely wall banner by Wandering Orion to Juno, keep tuned to future posts!

Dani added to his wishlist the Yoshi’s yarn game the minute it was released. He also scored the amiibo which is a real origami figure (so so so cute).
How was your Christmas eve? Thanks for all your Christmas wishes and hope you had the loveliest time with your dear ones, we know we should be extra thankful for the presents but specially to have so many love & kindness surrounding us. See you very very soon, we will be here with some New Year’s eve silly post.
