As of late… snapshots from February

This post was supposed to be aired (much) sooner, but last week I was not feeling myself… I was not feeling anything after being 4 days working 11 hours a day in a techie congress. I thought the weekend would be a good time to make amends and finally be able to sit down and write, but I ended having a Saturday full with shopping (for Dani to wear on my cousin’s wedding, not as fun as it sounds, ha!) and a Sunday teaching our first Photography 101 theory & field course (this was exciting!).

Therefore, today, a very sunny 6th of March is the date I am able to look back to the chilly February. According to our pictures, we ate too much, Barcelona was giving strong signals of spring which my mind kind of ignored, and had Juno as our photography muse. Well, this last one is an all-year-round thingie, so not much of a new.

The trees in front of our home are in spring mode! How I wasn’t able to get the easy clue and realize that the good weather was around the corner?

We had our first terrace meal. We really have a not so good relationship with this restaurant, this was the second chance we give ourselves to understand the love everyone has for Flax & Kale, but still don’t feel it. The food is just correct and overpriced.

Juno loves chasing the light during the morning. On weekends at 13:00 we have the best light touching our home, when do you have good light in your home? It’s a pity we don’t have it earlier or later since that hour is usually not the best for us to be there to enjoy it.

Juno’s favorite petting spot is her chin and the nose. Do you have a furry friend? Which is his/her favorite petting part?

These were so beautiful it was even difficult to start eating them. I just love so much this restaurant called La Mundana: food is not only the prettiest but also any choice in their menu is always a hit, biggest yumm!

How was your February? Do you have any plans for this new month? We do! We are going to my cousin’s wedding very soon in Madrid and I’m doing one of the two speeches. I still haven’t got not even a single word of it, oops! starting to feel and fear the pressure! Have you ever written a speech for a wedding? The ones I have enjoyed have this very personal, thoughtful yet funny touch and it’s making me feel overwhelmed before starting it. Do you have any tips?
