Around the world blog hop

Parc Pedralbes - The cat, you and us

Hello! Here we are again this week blogging, how annoying of us to be flooding your readers! This time it's for a good reason because we have ready my answers for the Around the World blog hop. I was tagged by the lovely Mei from Ice Pandora, the sweet girl behind the awesome crochet garland of our first blogiversary, to keep this nice idea going around the world.

Without further ado, let's talk about creativity & current work!

  • 1. What am I working on?
Without wanting to create buzz around it, we are working on a secret & exciting project involving Juno, that luckily we will be able to share with all of you in the coolest way possible. Ok, I must stop creating that buzz now, I promise.

  • 2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
That's quite a tricky one to answer because we are not so good with labeling (although I love order and list, is that contradictory?). I guess we could be included in a nerdy lifestyle where our main difference is that we are a couple both blogging (well, me lots more blabbing than Dani, like 90% posts, but we are always both on the planning & design process of every post) and taking pictures; we share a very similar style in photography which may make sometimes difficult to discern which picture is from who but at the same time we have a very clear idea of the strengths of each one. Oh! and we have Juno, that will be the cutest thing of our blog (human mom talk, sorry).

  • 3. Why do I write/create what I do?
We started the blog as a way to share our favorite pictures and explore more our creative side in lots of senses, also as a challenge because we knew we were more photography than wordy and a blog implied both. We have realized during this year and a half that more than sharing it is instead making us learn a lot every day, from other beautiful soul bloggers and its a reason to keep improving both our photography and our blogging styles. Also it gives us positiveness and confidence in building more around this passion of us.

  • 4. How does my writing/creating process work?
Our process would be a scheduled randomness if that it's even possible. Let me explain how, although our blog is planned usually 1/2 weeks ahead, when we are on time (not the case lately, ouch!), with a very useful calendar plugin to visualize how everything will be published (thanks Mariko for the recommendation!) our photography themes are more random, improvizing getaways and joining activities in Barcelona that will bring cute content to the blog (or at least we hope it is!). We like to dedicate a lot of time to each post, making a quite extense photo session which then we select thoroughly, edit the pictures, write the content and post it all together making a story out of it.

See you next week, we have imposed enough this one, and don't forget to keep this blog hop rolling; we would like to tag every blogger that reads us that haven't participated yet, please join! Can't end without mention that the pictures in the post were taken while recreating our anniversary pic, thus you can see a little more about our awkward family moments park ;)

So fun :) I always love reading your answers. I think the thing that surprises me/impresses me the most is that you do both have a similar photography style, maybe because you’ve been hanging out with each for so long or maybe because you are really one person – so lucky you met your other half :) he he he

Now I must go away and guess your secret project!! dum da daaaa…
