Hello there! Long time no see, or at least I feel it this way since I’ve been MIA again for a while. This time though it’s not after a blue period of mine only that I have been absorbed by the Lightroom app while editing wedding pics from The cat in love. Fun times, ha! Not only I have been spending more time at home in front of the computer but I’m also in the middle of a big closet purge and have already given away more than 3 bags to Goodwill. Do you have that same urge on autumn, or is just that I missed this year the spring cleaning?
Oh well! But today we have a rather different story to share, it’s that time of the month when we look back at what September brought us but we never got to share before on the blog. Luckily our faithful phones are there when we are too lazy to bring the big camera and we have plenty pretty things to show you today: want to go back to September with us? we’d love to give you a ride!

I received the most amazing present ever, and inexplicably Juno looked even happier with the packaging, she is too cute!

For my birthday I had a delicious ceviche with a pisco sour at a new place (for us!) called Santa Ceviche. I have a super crush with Peruvian cusine lately, and Dani knows too well how to treat me ;)

I got some pretty presents from the lovely Elena and a cute silver necklace (still not pictured, sorry) from Anna and Albert. Birthday perks!

I’ve got the most precious penpal with Kate, which I really don’t deserve (my letter will be out in short, promise!) If anyone else wants to keep in touch let me know in the about section, I may not be the most prolific but I’ll try to be a sweet one.

We tried new places for brunch and tea time and I had some solo girlz time to discuss mischievous (sort of) plans.

I finished HP Goblet of Fire and I started The Grapes of Wrath, so far I’m enjoying a lot the southern dialogs and landscapes. Have you read it?

On the 24th we celebrated a local holiday called La Mercè (see it last year). Once again we got to enjoy the Van Van food truck market ( I’m happy that it is becoming more ubiquitous, is it everywhere in Europe?) and this time with three different venues. Thanks to the food market we discovered a cute little nook in Montjuic called Palauet Albeniz and its gardens.

And guess what was our choice…. ceviche from Toya Petit Bar food truck! ha! obsessive girl! I loved that this time it was red tuna.

Loved the velvet touch of this plants, and the color…aww the color!

Palauet Albeniz is usually closed since the Royal family host their receptions there when they come to Barcelona, but as a special activity for the local holiday they opened its doors for free. I was marvelled with the Goya tapestry, the Dalí ceiling paintings and glass ceilings.

How is October looking for you? I’m looking forward to drink more pumpkin-ish drinks (Starbucks is featuring for the first time their famous fall drink in Spain!), host our first ever Halloween soiree at our home (yay!) and have fun watching sci-fi, fantasy and thriller movies at Sitges Film Festival (see our 2014 post, and our 2013 video) while soaking some shy fall sun and seaside goodness. Bring it on October, my favorite month of the year looks amazing!
Juno in that box still makes me smile! Can’t believe these photos are from your phone *gasp* love the happy colours and umbrellas and all that food looks exquisite. I too have been stuck on my computer editing, although sometimes tedious I love that it’s just another step to make the photos beautiful :) The Cat in Love site is looking amazing!
Thanks dear! We put so much effort on ‘The cat in love’, so I’m extra thankful for your words!! :)
